Our Story
Style Statement was born in 2018 from a two-room atelier in Jaipur. What started as a small label curating hand-block-printed cotton kurtas for friends and family quickly grew into something far more meaningful.
Our founders — Priya Sharma and Arjun Mehta — spent months travelling across Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu, sitting with master craftspeople, understanding the dying arts, and finding ways to bring them into contemporary Indian fashion without diluting their soul.
Today, Style Statement offers a curated collection of occasion wear, everyday luxury, and ceremonial pieces — all rooted in Indian craft traditions, reimagined for the modern wardrobe. Every piece is made in limited quantities because quality, never quantity, is our true currency.

Revive & Sustain
Partner directly with over 60 artisan clusters across India — from Kutch embroidery workers to Benarasi weavers — ensuring fair wages and sustainable livelihoods.
Quality Over Quantity
We intentionally limit our collection drops to prevent overproduction. Every piece is made to last, not to landfill. Slow fashion is not a trend for us — it is our identity.
Inclusive Sizing
Indian bodies are diverse. Our sizing spans XS to 5XL with a fit guarantee — if the size doesn't work, we exchange it at no cost within the window.
Sustainability
Natural Dyes
of our fabrics are dyed using AZO-free, natural, or low-impact synthetic dyes — safer for the environment and for the artisans who work with them.
Zero-Waste Cutting
Fabric scraps from our Jaipur production unit are donated to废物 upcycling cooperatives that transform waste into handicrafts and insulation material.
Plastic-Free Shipping
Since 2022, all Style Statement orders are shipped in compostable polybags or reusable cotton garment bags. Say goodbye to plastic packaging.
Carbon Offset
We offset 30% of our operational carbon footprint through verified Indian reforestation projects in the Aravallis and Western Ghats.
We are committed to transparency. Our supply chain is audited annually by a third-party sustainability consultant, and our findings are published on our website each year. We believe you deserve to know exactly where your clothes come from — the village, the weaver's hands, and the earth that was touched to make them.

Every piece is original. We never copy designs. Each collection is conceptualised in-house, often inspired by regional Indian art forms.
Fair Trade
We pay above-market wages to our artisan partners and never squeeze margins at the cost of human dignity. We are exploring a formal Fair Trade certification.

Indian fashion has long been sized for a narrow ideal. We believe in garments that celebrate every body — and a brand voice that speaks to every woman.
