Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love what you wear. If something isn't quite right, we make it right — fairly and quickly.

Days

Return Window

From the date of delivery, you have 7 calendar daysto initiate a return or exchange. Orders delivered via our logistics partners are eligible from the date marked as “Delivered” in your tracking — verified through our courier partner's proof of delivery records.

Return Conditions

To ensure quality for every customer, all returned items must meet our conditions. These align with your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Unworn & Unwashed

Items must not show signs of use — no odours, stains, or physical wear. Try items on gently on a clean surface.

Tags Intact

All original brand tags, care labels, and barcodes must be attached. Removed tags void the return.

Original Packaging

Return items in their original packaging — polybag, box, or garment bag as applicable.

No Customisations

Stitched blouses, customized lengths, or personalised orders cannot be returned unless defective.


How to Return an Item — Step by Step

Raise a Return Request

Log in to your Style Statement account. Go to My Orders → select the order → click “Return/Exchange.” Alternatively, email returns@stylestatement.in with your order ID. Requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.

Select Reason & Upload Images

Choose a return reason from the dropdown (e.g., size issue, wrong product, defective). Upload 2–3 clear photos of the item showing the concern. This helps us process your request within 24 hours.

Receive Approval & Reverse Pickup

Once our team approves your request (within 24 hours), we will schedule a reverse pickup via Delhivery at no extra cost. You will receive an SMS and email with the pickup date and tracking AWB.

Pack & Hand Over

Pack the item securely in its original packaging and attach the return label (sent to your email). Hand the package to the courier executive on the scheduled date.

Refund / Store Credit Processed

Once we receive and inspect the item (1–2 business days), your refund will be initiated. Refunds go to the original payment method or as store credit — your choice.


Exchange — Different Size or Colour

We offer a direct exchange for size or colour variants where stock is available. Exchanges are processed before a return and save you from the refund waiting period.

Size Exchange

Select your new size at the time of raising the exchange request. Subject to availability.

Colour Exchange

Available if the same style is in stock in your preferred colourway.

If the exchange item is of higher value, you will be asked to pay the difference before dispatch. For lower-value exchanges, the difference will be refunded after we receive the original item.

Refunds are processed after we receive and inspect the returned item. Bank holidays, weekends, and NEFT batch processing times may affect timelines. GST already charged on your order is not refundable as it has been deposited with the government exchequer — this aligns with Rule 5 of the CGST Rules, 2017.


Items That Cannot Be Returned

Stitched blouses, tailored Lehengas, and hemmed garments
Innerwear, lingerie, swimwear, and adhesive fashion tapes
Items marked as 'Final Sale' or 'Non-Returnable' at checkout
Perfumes, beauty products, and personal care items
Gift cards and digital download purchases
Items returned after the 7-day window
Items with damaged or removed tags, or signs of wear

Defective or Wrong Product

If you receive a defective, damaged, or wrong item, we offer a priority exchange or full refund at no cost to you. Please report this within 48 hours of delivery by:

  • Emailing images to returns@stylestatement.in with subject line “DEFECTIVE — Order #[Your Order ID]”
  • Calling our helpline at +91 98765 43210 (Mon–Sat, 10 AM – 7 PM IST)

We will arrange an immediate pickup and prioritised replacement or refund, without waiting for the standard 7-day processing window. This is in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (E-Commerce Rules).
